Our Team

We are a private family run company and part of the Castlecroft Securities group. We have built our reputation on providing a fast, efficient, friendly and flexible service to our clients many of whom are still with us since we started.

As a family business, we’re in it together and we’re in it for the long term. Our clients seem to recognise and appreciate these values, with many of them staying with us as they develop and grow, upscaling and downsizing to whatever shape their businesses need to be.

We are still very much a family business – Phillip Black has been involved with the business for 18 years and Jordan J Black is the third generation of Black’s in the business, working with the company since the age of 16.

Castlecroft Group recognises and values the contribution that our staff make to the business. We invest heavily in staff training at every level, and strive to deliver key opportunities for our employees to grow and excel.

Thirteen members of staff have successfully gained skills to support them in their roles. These include first aid, IOSH Health and Safety, leadership & management qualifications.

Demand for skilled HGV drivers is always high, but the number of qualified drivers in the industry is in decline.We’ve chosen to tackle this issue by offering HGV training to most of our workforce.

Our commitment to nurturing personal development has benefitted staff retention; the average length of service across the company is nine years.
