Events and Activities Limited organises and manages a number of demanding team-building charity events throughout Scotland including the Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge, Maggie’s Monster Bike and Hike, the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon, the Artemis Highland 100 and the Bank of Scotland Cairngorm Mountain Bike Challenge. The company also founded the Loch Ness Marathon and developed The Caledonia Challenge.

Providing toilet facilities in some of Scotland’s most remote and rugged terrain is a challenge which Scotloo has taken in its stride.

With events attracting up to 1,500 participants it is essential to have clean and efficient toilet facilities placed along the course of the route.

Founder and promoter of the company, David Fox-Pitt said: “We have always found Scotloo to be helpful and efficient in meeting all of our portable toilet requirements. We have used them for a number of our events now and they have never let us down.”

Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club
The Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club holds its annual Scottish Transport Extravaganza in the grounds of Glamis Castle each July. Now in its 34th year, the event is one of the largest of its kind in the UK.

With over 15,000 visitors attending over two days, the provision of high quality toilet facilities is a key issue.

“Scotlloo has been providing our portable toilet units for a number of years,” said Lesley Munro, the club’s administrator. “The service has been exemplary and they are a very good company to work with. Any problems which arise are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.”

In 2006 the club won a Tourism Ambassador award from Angus Council in recognition of the event in promoting the Angus region.

She added: “They always send me a reminder to tell me when the tank requires emptying. I find this very useful as it is too easy to forget.”
